2012 SAE Aero West Design InformationWARRENDALE, Pa., Feb. 23, 2012 - To all Aero West teams, The 2012 SAE Aero Design competition is four weeks out from today (Thursday, February 23, 2012). This leaves you little time for flight tests and preparations. Attached are a number of documents, reminders and helpful information to assist in your final planning. You will notice a welcome letter from the San Fernando Valley R/C Flyers club. They will be our hosts at the field, you will also see how to obtain a pilot for the weekend flights. If you need a pilot, please follow the instructions. A helpful “How to Fail Your Safety Inspection” is also included. Shipping of materials to the hotel Attached you will find a Airtel Hotel shipping policy. Read and follow all instructions to insure you materials are shipped properly. This is your responsibility. The organizing committee and SAE staff wish you all the best for the competition.
