2012 Formula SAE Lincoln Overall Site Layout
WARRENDALE, Pa., March 20, 2012 -
Here are the preliminary layouts of the 2012 Formula SAE Lincoln site, autocross and endurance courses. These designs are not final and are subject to change. Any site or course design released prior to the competition is not guaranteed and may be modified. The course layouts can only be finalized as they are being laid out at Lincoln Airpark.
Please notice that the course designs use a smaller number of cones than were employed on earlier courses and that the cone placement is significantly different. On the layouts upright cones are indicated by dots and pointer cones by triangles. Course boundaries are indicated by green lines and the purple line is a theoretical driving line. The background squares are 25’ x 25’. We suggest that drivers study these layouts and familiarize themselves with this system of course marking. The FSAE Lincoln dynamic event courses will be available for course walks early in the competition.
These layouts are the work of Roger Johnson, SCCA’s premier course designer, who has volunteered his services to make our inaugural FSAE Lincoln competition a success.
