FSAE Endurance and Tech Inspection and Running Groups

WARRENDALE, Pa., April 12, 2012 -

Technical Inspection – Teams must complete all 3 parts of technical inspection by 5:30pm on Friday to qualify to compete in Endurance and Fuel Economy.

Only teams that (1) complete tech by 5:30pm Friday and (2) are included on the published running order list may compete in Endurance.

If the officials remove part of your tech sticker for cause, e.g. mechanical failure or an accident, then if you successfully re-tech your repair, and are otherwise qualified, you can run in Endurance.

Teams that have not completed tech by Friday evening have the option of going through tech on Saturday only for the purpose of getting the full sticker, but may not compete in Endurance .

Exclusive Morning and Afternoon Running Groups – Teams scheduled to run in the Endurance morning group must run during the morning.  Teams on the morning schedule may only run out-of-order in the morning, but may not run out-of-order in the afternoon.  Morning group teams that do not run in the morning will be scored as DNA.
