The 2013 Collegiate Design Series (CDS) competition schedule, registration fees, maximum number of teams accepted for each event and the registration opening and closing are listed below.

You must read and follow the registration requirements and instructions in the rules for the competition your team plans to enter.   Many competitions sell out quickly; so we recommend that you register early to avoid disappointment.

Registration for the 2013 CDS competitions will open online as follows:

Formula SAE, Formula SAE Electric and Formula Hybrid - 10:00 am EDT, Monday, October 1, 2012.

Aero Design, Baja SAE, Clean Snowmobile Challenge and Supermileage - 10:00 am EDT, Tuesday, October 2, 2012.

Registration for all competitions will close at 11:59 pm EST, Monday, December 17, 2012 or when all the registration slots for a competition have been taken, whichever occurs first. The traditional 1 month restriction between Formula SAE competitions still remains.

*Note - Registration into the Formula SAE Electric (EV) class at FSAE Lincoln is completely independent of registration of an IC entry.   Teams may register both an IC entry and an EV at FSAE Lincoln or an IC vehicle at FSAE Michigan and an EV at FSAE Lincoln as soon registration opens.
