Vehicle Charging at FSAE Electric

WARRENDALE, Pa., Oct. 29, 2012 - Attention EV Participants:

As specified in FSAE Rule EV8.2.1 a separate charging area will be provided at FSAE Electric.   The power provided in the charging area will be 125 V, single phase, AC with the circuit fused at 20 A through common North American (NEMA) three wire grounding receptacles.  

All vehicle charging must be done in the designated charging area.  At least one (1) team member must remain with the vehicle, or accumulators, when charging is in progress.  Teams are required to provide any electrical cords they may need to connect their charging equipment to the receptacle.
