Engineers Receive SAE Environmental Excellence in Transportation Award

WARRENDALE, Pa., June 12, 2007 - Engineers representing companies and universities from across the globe are recipients of SAE International's Environmental Excellence in Transportation Award. They were presented the award during the 2007 Government/Industry Meeting in Washington, D.C.

The award, established in 2000, recognizes individuals and teams who demonstrate significant innovations in improving the transportation industry's impact on the environment. 

Recipients were honored in the following categories:

Education, Training and Public Awareness
