Presentation Overview
From 1938 to 1945, German aerodynamic imagination and technology were several years ahead of the allies. Today, the real and conceptual designs of the German Jets continue to capture our imagination, as evidenced by the widespread literature and artwork thereof. Recently delivered in Dayton Ohio as an AIAA Distinguished Lecture, this presentation focuses on the aerodynamics and engines of the German Jets, with computer graphics, engineering analyses, and some history.
