Distinguished speakers include: George SooDoo, Chief of the Vehicle Dynamics Division at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in Washington, DC Alan Korn, Director of Vehicle Dynamics and Control at Meritor WABCO This symposium combines presentations with networking opportunities for professionals involved in technologies related to heavy-duty vehicle dynamics, stability control, braking, steering, safety technologies, and more. Speakers and participants will include medium- and heavy-duty OEMs, suppliers, and academia. Sessions currently include the following:Heavy Truck Dynamics Handling ChallengesSteering, Suspension, and Tire Effects on Truck Handling Rollover Stability Dynamics and Control TopicsHandling Dynamics and Control Assessment through Modeling and Testing In addition to the technical sessions, the symposium will also feature the opportunity to tour Michelin's K&C Rig workshop as well as a ride-along demonstration event where attendees can expect to ride in more than a dozen vehicles, provided by OEMS and suppliers, demonstrating Handling, Vehicle Dynamics and Control capabilities over numerous test surfaces, including wet and dry handling courses.
