Delphi Engineer Waseem "Wes" Mir will present on Vehicle Communications at Delphi Automotive. From its humble beginnings as the Dayton Engineering Laboratories Company (DELCO), in 1912, Delphi Cooperation has evolved into a world-wide, premier Tier 1, Automotive Supplier. Delphi still has contact with its DELCO roots by maintaining Delphi-Packard locations around the Dayton, Ohio metro area. Names like Charles (Boss) Kettering who founded DELCO and Albert Champion (AC sparkplug division of GM), provide Delphi with a colorful past, and a rich history of supporting the US Auto industry. And with Delphis patriotic support first by supplying radio and communication equipment to the US Army in WW2. And a variety of Military contract support over the years up to present times, with USMC and US Army vehicle upgrade support for the recent Mid-East conflicts. So if you drive a late model vehicle, or even an older classic, chances are, if you pop the hood, you will notice one or more sensors or modules with either the DELCO or DELPHI logo. Wes Mir who has been working for Delphi for over 19 years will present one important aspect for Delphi Electronic modules, which is Vehicle Bus Communications. Connect to innovation at www.delphi.com
