The SAE New England Section is an outstanding resource for people involved in all aspects of the vehicle mobility industry in and around the eastern Massachussets area, as well as Rhode Island and most of New Hampshire.

$500 Collegiate Design Series Grant
SAE New England section wants to encourage local colleges to participate in one of the Collegiate Design Series (CDS) programs. The goal of the grant is to help a school to start or revive an SAE Collegiate Design Series Project team. Each year the SAE New England section will offer a $500 grant for a Collegiate Design Series Team. Collegiate Design Series Teams must submit the application by 1 Oct each year. Request and submit the application from: ms045@email.sae.org The SAE New England section board will select the grant recipient by 31 Oct, in order for teams to make the Dec deadline for CDS team registration. Priority will be given to New Teams, revived programs and teams with specific hardware needs. The grant will only be given to registered teams. The grant must be used in the school year awarded.

AltWheels Fleet Day is the largest meeting of corporate and municipal Fleet Managers on the East Coast. Come see and hear the latest in fleet transportation technologies, alternative fuels and fleet management practices. The day consists of panels, exhibits, and vehicles offering a showcase of alternative transportation solutions — from concept vehicles, to vehicles that are available and affordable today. This year's Fleet Day will be hosted at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel and conference center on Route 1 in Norwood, MA in their state-of-the-art conference space with a large outdoor vehicle display.
