Hybrid electric commercial vehicles can provide improved fuel efficiency through electrification of accessories. This session is open to papers and presentations on strategies for the utilization of electrically powered air conditioning, steering, cooling fans, pumps, air compressors and replacement of alternators through DC/DC converter to further improve fuel efficiency. Starter removal and using the electrical drive motor may also be considered.
