This session will explore new, innovative fuel efficient technologies to improve light duty vehicle fuel economy, reduce green house gasses and criteria pollutants from the conventional engines. Speakers from industry, government, public interest groups and research labs will try to address pertinent questions such as: How far can conventional IC engine technology take us? Improvement made to date and what are the constraints/potentials of using advanced materials to improve fuel economy?
