Progress in model based simulation of turbochargers for internal combustion engines and of turbocharger and engine interaction is presented in this session. 0D, 1D, quasi-dimensional modeling techniques are developed, enhanced, and applied . The model quality is validated by using measured data and results from 3D-CFD.
