HDD Systems: Control of NOx and N2O


Patrick Burk received his PhD in Organic Chemistry from Michigan State University. After working in the corporate R&D labs of Exxon and Smith Kline and French Labs, he joined the Engelhard Environmental Catalyst R&D Group in 1988 which became BASF in 2006. As a Senior R&D Manager his multidisciplinary teams have successfully introduced new technologies into both the gasoline and diesel emission abatement applications including the groundbreaking Copper Chabazite-based SCR catalyst. Currently, Pat runs the BASF’s Heavy Duty Diesel Systems R&D group.
