Rapid Prototyping of Aerospace-Grade Composite Parts
John Wanberg is an associate professor of Industrial Design at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Mr. Wanberg’s research interests include electric and alternative transportation, prototype airframe design, assistive bio-robotics, and composites manufacturing and applications. He enjoys applying theoretical concepts of design to real-world, hands-on applications and has worked professionally in the design of alternative vehicles and aftermarket automotive equipment, as well as on a variety of products ranging from medical mobility devices and industrial sound equipment to consumer products. He is currently researching and developing an all-composite, dynamic body structure for an alternative commuter vehicle called the "Axys".
