John Wanberg is an associate professor of Industrial Design at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Mr. Wanberg’s research interests include electric and alternative transportation, prototype airframe design, assistive bio-robotics, and composites manufacturing and applications. He enjoys applying theoretical concepts of design to real-world, hands-on applications and has worked professionally in the design of alternative vehicles and aftermarket automotive equipment, as well as on a variety of products ranging from medical mobility devices and industrial sound equipment to consumer products. He is currently researching and developing an all-composite, dynamic body structure for an alternative commuter vehicle called the "Axys".
