Study on Homogeneous Lean Charge SI Ignition Combustion
Dr. Takashi Kondo is currently an assistant chief engineer in Automobile R&D Center at Honda R&D Co., Ltd. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Musashi Institute of Technology in Tokyo Japan in 1998 on Analysis of Abnormal Combustion in External Mixture Formation Hydrogen Engines. Between 2008 and 2009 he was a part time lecturer at Musashi Institute of Technology. He has worked at Honda R&D Co., Ltd. since 1998 in a variety of roles including development of Rankine cycle system for automobile, development of VCR engine and analysis of dual fuel HCCI combustion. Most recently, he has worked on analysis and development of Lean burn combustion technology.
