Federal Policy Driving Changes in Gasoline
Bruce W. Heine was named director of government affairs for Magellan Midstream Partners in July 2003. In 1999, Heine joined The Williams Companies as senior manager of government affairs assigned to the Petroleum Services (Bio-Energy, Transportation and Terminals, Refining, Retail TravelCenters) Exploration and Production and Midstream business units. Prior to Williams, Heine held managerial positions in other petroleum and chemical manufacturing companies as well as a family petroleum distributorship and began his career in the energy sector as a sole proprietor of an Exxon retail service station. Heine graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in management. Heine is active in trade associations including the American Petroleum Institute, Association of Oil Pipelines and the National Association of Publicly Traded Partnerships and is the current President of the Parent Child Center of Tulsa.
