Overview
The Plastics Committee applies the knowledge and experience of its volunteer membership to develop and maintain SAE Standards, Recommended Practices and Information Reports for the automotive, plastics and other related industries. The intent of these documents is to satisfy the needs of users, suppliers and vendors that are affected by these standards.
Participants in the SAE Plastics Committee include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government and other interested parties, and their involvement is critical in the development and maintenance of each document.
