The Fluid Conductors and Connectors Technical Committee (FCCTC) develops and maintains SAE Standards, Recommended Practices and Information Reports relating to the area of fluid conductors and connectors including hose, hose assemblies, tubing and fittings for various functions in Land-Sea Vehicular applications. Subject areas addressed include coding, identification, dimensional, performance, and procurement requirements, quality, shipping, storage, and testing methods. An interface is maintained with other SAE committees, such as the automotive, truck, heavy equipment, marine and construction vehicle applications areas as well as other technical societies, international standards organizations, and governmental agencies to provide standardization.
