The Truck and Bus Hydraulic Brake Subcommittee is responsible for developing, reviewing, approving and maintaining recommended practices, standards, and information reports related to brake systems on hydraulically braked trucks and buses designed primarily for on-highway use having GVWR greater than 10,000 pounds (4,500 KG). The responsibility of this committee will include the following related aspects of hydraulically braked vehicles with due care given to coordinate with and avoid duplicating efforts of the other committees: Braking performance - system components performance (to include but not limited to actuation systems, foundation brake, park brake, electronically controlled brake systems and anti-lock brake systems)
