Overview
The Fuels and Lubricants Council is responsible for: setting policy; providing final approval of documents; arbitrating controversial issues; reporting to the Technical Board (via the Technology/Development Group); approving the Technical Committee membership; and appointing Technical Committee, Coordinating Committee, and other Chairpersons as required.
Participants in the SAE Fuels and Lubricants Council include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government and other interested parties.
