Shea Title Information on Parking Brake Systems Scope This document provides information on the parking brake system design for a variety of non military aircraft. The document includes a discussion of key technical issues with parking brakes. Even though the document includes information on advantages and disadvantages on the different approaches, this document does NOT provide recommended practices for parking brake system design. Rationale The industry requested that general reference information on parking brake system architectures be compiled including a discussion of issues for the various design approaches.
