Traver Title Use of FT-IR for Emissions Measurement Scope This SAE standard will provide recommended practices and user guidelines for the FT-IR gas analyzer in testing automotive gaseous emissions. This will cover a wide range of engines including, but not limited to, those fueled by diesel, gasoline, natural gas, LPG as well as bio-fuel and bio-fuel blends. Additionally, the standard will help to identify minimum performance standards for an FT-IR being used for both vehicle and engine emissions testing.
