This SAE Recommended Practice establishes uniform procedures for evaluating conformity between the actual and target drive speeds for chassis dynamometer testing utilizing standard fuel economy and emissions drive schedules.
Rationale: Document is open for 5-year review. Plan to address minor typographical issues and possibly consolidate some sections. May add metrics and methodologies used in WLTP, and expand scope to include metrics used for non-chassis-dyno (PEMS/RDE) testing.
