Non-Blinding Emergency Vehicle Lighting

Scope:
The Department of Homeland Security/FEMA/USFA is sponsoring SAE to conduct research studies on Non-Blinding Emergency Vehicle Warning Lighting systems.

These studies include efforts related to the effect and how to mitigate the disorientation of motorists caused by the day and nighttime use of emergency warning lights including issues of lighting color and visibility/conspicuity issues.
