Abstract:
This paper presents an overview of the Chinese Space Program since its inception in the late 50s with particular emphasis on the Long March Series Launch vehicle. Technical data, configuration and performance characteristics of Chinese launch vehicles presently available or under development are provided. China offers commercial launch services to foreign countries at competitive conditions and is willing to explore the possibility of jointly marketing launch services with U.S. or European companies.
