Abstract:
A cross modal assurance criteria which represents the degree of correlation between the analytical modes and the test modes is defined. It is used as an indicator to predict the quality of the orthogonality with respect to the dynamically or statically reduced mass matrix using test modes. The root means square values of the cross modal assurance criteria can be used to identify whether the significant errors exist in the analytical model or the test data.
