Truck and Bus Council

Scope

To initiate, review and approve the SAE Technical Reports, (Standards, Recommended Practices, Draft Technical Reports, Technical Data Reports and Information Reports) related to trucks and buses, their unique components and accessories. Included are trucks, non-passenger vans, utility vehicles, truck-trailer, tractor-trailer combinations and buses of all weight categories, designed for highway, on-off highway, off highway, and special purpose uses. To do this on behalf of the SAE Technical Standards Board and to serve the best interests of the public.
