| Member Discounts |
SAE member discount fees are applicable to current members in good standing and are based on your membership level. Discounts can vary from 10%, 15%, or 20%! Some Professional Development courses, such as those involving driving vehicles, are exempt from the 10%, 15%, 20% member discount structure due to higher operational costs. Smaller percentage discounts, however, still apply. See individual course pages for specific Classic, Premium, and Elite discount amounts.

| Multiple Registrations - Classroom Seminars |
Save an additional 10% when three or more people from the same company register to attend the same class together. Simply provide your confirmation number to your colleagues and ask them to mention this number when calling SAE Customer Service at 1-877-606-7323 (U.S. and Canada) or 1-724-776-4970 and registering for the same seminar offering.
The discount will be reimbursed to you and applied to your colleagues once registration is finalized for all three (or more) registrants. Discount valid only for three or more registrants who attend the same seminar offering. Some Professional Development courses, such as those involving driving vehicles, are exempt from the 10%, 15%, 20% member discount structure due to higher operational costs. In this instance, a discount of $50 will be applied to each individual who is part of a group of three or more registrants who are attending the same seminar offering. |
| Multiple Registrations - Webinars |
Register one individual at the appropriate member or list price, then register as many additional employees for the same webinar at half off the list price. To receive the discount, register all individuals at the same time or mention the confirmation number for the first registrant when calling SAE Customer Service. All registrants will receive a personal account and opportunity for CEUs. |
| Student Discounts |
SAE student members can attend a SAE Seminar for $75 per day or SAE Webinar for $25.00 per session, plus any additional costs of materials and delivery. All student registrations are on a "space available" basis and will not be guaranteed until after the "Go/No Go" Decision has been made for the event (typically 2 Fridays prior to the event start date). Student members must pre-register by calling SAE Customer Service at 1-877-606-7323 (U.S. and Canada) or 1-724-776-4970.
SAE International requires that anyone registering for a seminar or webinar at the student discount fee is required to provide proof of full-time student status (12 credits per semester) in advance of the course. Acceptable documentation, presented at seminar check-in or submitted for webinars by e-mail or fax, is a full-time Student ID or current transcript. |
| SAE Senior Discount Program |
SAE is pleased to offer members age 62 or older an affordable opportunity to stay current in their profession. Seniors are eligible to access SAE Seminars, Webinars and Engineering Academies at a 50 percent discount (space available). Proof of age is required at the time of registration. Online courses, e-seminars, driving courses, and self-study products are not part of the discount program. |
