Congratulations to the 2018 Franklin W. Kolk Air Transportation Progress Award Recipient:

Richard Ambroise, Hybrid Electric Propulsion Coordinator, AIRBUS.  

 

This award recognizes an individual or a team for unique and outstanding contributions to air transportation and/or to the work of the aerospace technical committees in developing aerospace standards, specifications, technical reports, and data through cooperative research.

Monsieur Ambroise has been a leader, a supporter and contributor to SAE International in a number of areas. He has played an instrumental role as part of the E-36 standards committee, published and presented various papers at SAE Aerotech conferences and is an active reviewer within the SAE publications process. One of his greatest contributions however, his been his ability to bring together, lead and motivate a group of world class experts to drive industry evolution.
