Accelerating DoD Software Engineering to the Speed of Relevance


The DoD Air and Space Weapon Systems Software Summit provides a unique opportunity for members of the Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Industrial Base (DIB), and academia software communities to network, gain fresh perspectives, and spark new ideas to tackle software challenges in creative and innovative ways.

The primary mission is to ensure sustainment of weapon systems software and related military equipment is effective, responsive, cost-efficient, and adequately supports military operational requirements across the Air Force and DoD.

The Summit brings together engineers, developers, and business leaders to accelerate the practices of continuous software development and sustainment, and to revolutionize the next cycle of innovations.

Summit organizers invite members of the DoD, academia, and DIB communities to submit abstracts for presentations* relevant to maintaining DoD weapon systems software and equipment, including emerging technology, process, and management solutions that address current software lifecycle challenges and explore the path forward. 

It only takes 20 minutes to submit an abstract. Submit yours today. 

*Oral-only Presentations include a PowerPoint slide deck and verbal, in-person lecture/talk by one or more presenters/speakers.
*Please note: Registration fee required. Speakers must register to attend and pay the associated (and discounted) registration fee.

*Summit participation is unclassified. Your presentation must be Distribution A. (STATEMENT A: Approved for public release. Distribution is unlimited.)
