The tour will highlight field-level efforts in adapting the latest technology and process solutions to sustaining the aging KC-135 aircraft fleet. Join the men and women of the 92d/141st Maintenance Group as they walk you through what it takes to overcome current and future repair/sustainment challenges in the fight to maintain America’s air refueling capability through 2040 and beyond.
The 92d Maintenance Group (MXG) supports the dynamic operations of the 92d Air Refueling Wing and Fairchild Air Force Base’s tenant units. It provides on- and off-equipment maintenance on 44 KC-135 Stratotankers and special support on the US Air Force Survival School’s UH-1N helicopters. Over one-thousand members of the 92d MXG produce high quality, combat ready mobility airpower to support America’s national interests and diverse operational requirements of the Governor of Washington State now and in the future.
