The SAE International Conference on Icing of Aircraft, Engines and Structures returns to North America in June 2019. Building on a heritage of more than 20 years, roles from across the aerospace industry, including aircraft and systems manufacturers, deicing providers, icing researchers, and regulators will convene in Minneapolis, MN, on June 17-21, 2019.
The conference brings together key SAE standards committees and leading international organizations, including NASA, U.S. FAA, Transport Canada, and the European Aviation Safety Administration. The International Conference on Icing sets the standards agenda and provides the venue for an interactive exchange and knowledge sharing of the latest scientific research, regulations, and technologies for preventing ice formation, removing formed ice, and aircraft/structure de-icing. The collective expertise of attendees from these agenda-setting organizations creates an unrivaled technical program and networking venue.
As an attendee to the International Conference on Icing, you will take part in a program that spans the breadth of the topic, including in-depth tracks focused on:
- In-flight anti-icing
- Ground deicing and land structures
- Environmental icing meteorology
The International Conference on Icing of Aircraft, Engines and Structures is co-developed with The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and American Helicopter Society.
