Welcome to the SAE 2018 North American International Powertrain Conference. Please review the important event information below.

This invitation-only event will kick off to attendees on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 6:00 p.m. when Bob Lutz, former Vice Chairman, GM, will provide the keynote presentation and share his thoughts on “Disruptors Facing the Automotive Industry.”

Audience Response System

The Executive Leadership Team has yet again planned an outstanding program, which can be viewed in entirety here.  During each session, you will be able to submit questions via your mobile phone, laptop, or tablet. To access the audience response system, please visit: naipc2018.cnf.io. Lunch Table Sign Up

A popular feature of NAIPC is the facilitated lunch discussions that take place on Thursday, Sept. 13. This year, we are providing you with the opportunity to sign up in advance for a lunch topic. Click here to sign up for the 2018 NAIPC Lunch Table Discussions. Please note that space is limited.

Directions, Parking, and Dress Code

Directions to the hotel can be viewed here. If you are utilizing a GPS to assist you, please be aware that you may be navigated to intermediate level Lake Street and Columbus Drive rather than the front door of the hotel. The Auto Lobby is located on Lake Street just west of Columbus Drive.

The hotel does not provide a self-parking option. Valet services is available for $72/day.

Dress code for all events is business attire, and the Gala Reception is business or cocktail attire.

Gala Reception

The Gala on Thursday, Sept. 13 will take place at the Mid-America Club, located on the 80th floor of the AON Tower. The Mid-America Club is accessible through the Chicago Pedway, a network of underground tunnels and concourses and is connected to the Fairmont Hotel.
