Baja SAE Validation - Louisville

2021 Baja SAE Event Structure

SAE International will operate the 2021 competition season using a Hybrid Model offering student engagement in a 2-Step Registration Process.

Operating the 2021 competition season using the hybrid model will allow for any international team to participate in the competition by participating in the Baja SAE Knowledge Event if travel bans and closed borders remain an issue.

Step 1 – Baja SAE Knowledge Event

Registration for this virtual event will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. EDT.

It is a requirement to take part in the virtual Baja SAE Knowledge Event to register for the Baja SAE Validation Event that will be held in person. The registration fee for this event is: $900.00 USD and will be due within 48 hours of invoice generation.

This event will include the following:

• Written Design Paper
• Cost Report Submission
• Oral Design Presentation
• Oral Cost Presentation
• Oral Business Presentation
• Educational online workshop

Step 2 – Baja SAE Validation Event 

Registration for this event will be on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. EST. It is a requirement to take part in the Baja SAE Knowledge Event to register for this event. The registration fee for this event is: $450.00 USD and will be due 60 Days Out from the Validation Event date.

This event will include the following:

• Technical Inspection
• All Dynamic Events
