Spirit of Excellence Award—This award recognizes the top-10 finishers with overall highest accumulative scores.

Static Events

Cost Award—This award recognizes the top-three finishers with overall highest accumulative scores in Cost.

Bosch Engineering Design Award ($2000, $1500, $1000)—This award recognizes the top-three finishers with overall highest accumulative scores in Design.

Presentation Award—This award recognizes the top-three finishers with overall highest accumulative scores in Presentation.

Dynamic Events

Roush Acceleration Award ($1000, $750, $500)—This award recognizes the top three finishers with fastest speeds/highest accumulative scores in Acceleration.

Magna International Autocross Award ($1000, $750, $500)—This award recognizes the top three finishers with fastest speeds/highest accumulative scores in Autocross with a trophy.

Ford Endurance Award ($2000, $1500, $1000)—This award recognizes the top three finishers with fastest speeds/highest accumulative scores in Endurance.

Ford Fuel Efficiency Award—This award recognizes the top three finishers who receive highest scores accumulated on best fuel efficiency.

Cooper Tire Skid Pad Award ($1000, $750, $500)—This award recognizes the top three finishers with fastest speeds/highest accumulative scores in Skid Pad.

These are special created sponsored awards; some may require application process)

ACE Energy Management Award ($1000, $750, $500)— Awarded to the top three teams for creative solutions to energy management challenges. Award Information

Akebono Brake Corporation Brake Design Award ($1000)—Awarded to first place team for their vehicle Brake Design. Award Information

Altair Engineering's William R. Adam Engineering Award ($1000, $500)—This award recognizes the the top two teams that exhibit new and innovative concepts in vehicle design. Award Information

Cummins Inc. Applied Technology Award ($1000, $750, $500)—"Applied Technology" Award for the team that applies technology the most innovatively. Award Information

The FEV Powertrain Development Award ($1000, $750, $500)—Top three teams with overall excellence in Powertrain Development. Scoring Key

Three View Drawing Excellence Award—Awarded to the top 10 Formula SAE teams who submit the best executed three view drawings, per the Formula SAE Rule S6.4. (All Design Reports will automatically be considered and reviewed for this award.) Judging Criteria

MacLean-Fogg Fastening Challenge Award ($1000, $750, $500)—This award is intended to reward team with the best solution to a fastening challenge at Formula SAE Michigan. Award information

MAHLE Ingenuity Award ($1000, $750, $500) – MAHLE is offering this award program for collegiate motorsport teams that demonstrate their application of an innovative component. Award Information with a link to the attached document. Award Information
