Thermal Management Systems Symposium

October 2-3, 2024 | Plymouth, Michigan

Connect with the Global Thermal Management Community

Electric vehicles bring a host of new challenges to the industry: how to keep things cool around a hot battery; how to conserve energy and reduce engine emissions; how to improve the cabin environment; and how to meet global standards and regulations. This year’s Thermal Management Systems Symposium (TMSS) will bring the industry together to tackle these important questions and much more.

In two productive days, you’ll get up to speed on regulations, technology and industry trends, and interact with engineers who do what you do. This is where important conversations happen. Don’t miss this vital opportunity to interact with and network the best of the best in the field of ground vehicle thermal systems technology and thermal systems management.

Topics covered will include:

  • Thermal systems technology and management
  • Advanced internal combustion engine technology
  • Electric vehicle and hybrids development
  • Global emissions regulations
  • Fuels and engine oil developments
  • Commercial, heavy-duty and off-road ground vehicles
  • Emerging and supporting tech

What I am looking forward to the most…

"AT TMSS the most important topic which I am looking forward to is the regulation related to PFAS. What are we developing? What refrigerants are we developing?  What is Europe doing? What are we doing in the United States? What will EPA be doing in some of these states, for example, state of Maine, Minnesota, what exactly they'll be doing? Are they going to be banning PFAS?"

What I am looking forward to the most…

"I would say I'm looking forward to the event - all topics are equally important. In particular, I am looking forward to hearing from our global partners, OEMs, those from China or Europe, about their electrification strategy, where they are at, what their mandate is for regulations, what are they doing in terms of alternate materials.

I am definitely looking forward to, and I would encourage everybody to look forward to, hearing from our software companies as to where they are at with their methods, development and tools, development towards model-based systems engineering, and how they are applying AI and ML in this space more effectively."
