Purpose

Establish, develop, and maintain industry quality requirements to improve product and process integrity

Scope

  • Improves the supplier performance and customer satisfaction, especially Product Quality & On-time Deliveries
  • Takes into account new requirements from aviation, space & defense and QMS standards
  • Represents IAQG at the ISO (TC 176) for future QMS activities
  • Stays abreast with emerging requirements
  • Sustains and improves the QMS audit and certification process

Deliverables

  • Ensure standards are current, relevant and integrated
  • Project managed future standard releases
  • Collaboration with Strategy Streams to ensure strategic alignment
  • Develop and maintain guidance materials
  • Develop future QMS concepts
  • Provide IAQG Clarifications utilizing the SDR/IDR process
  • Provide standard communications to stakeholders
  • Promote IAQG Requirements Team standards
  • Develop future QMS concepts
  • Work with Relationship Growth Teams
  • Communication with Civil Authorities, Space, Defense & National Trade Associations, MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul organizations) and Airlines

Quality Management System Scope

IAQG implements quality initiatives for improvements throughout the aviation, space and defense product and services value stream through the use of standards, SCMH materials, and provides certification oversight activities.
