AS13002: Qualifying an Alternate Inspection Frequency Plan C1877

AS13002 defines the process for qualifying an Alternate Inspection Frequency Plan for suppliers within the aero-engine sector.  This two-day course will provide common requirements for developing and qualifying an alternate inspection plan, other than 100% inspection of all features.  This course is designed to cover the basic elements of the process to be applied to design characteristics (as defined in AS9102), and parts or inspection processes as defined by the purchaser. Beginning with documentation requisites, it will also cover characteristics and controls definition, data pack preparation, purchaser evaluation and approval, planning execution and monitoring, reaction planning, change control and control types.

Dario Yamamoto

Dario Dario Yamamoto has over 10 years of experience in the aerospace and aviation industries as a Plant, Engineering and Quality Manager in aerospace manufacturing and aviation companies. Additionally, he has over 11 years of experience in education as an Engineering Program Coordinator, University Professor and Certified Bombardier Aerospace Structural Assemblies Instructor. His credentials also include: AS9100 auditor and ISO9001 Lead Auditor.  Experienced as an AS9100 lead auditor, consultant, and instructor, he regularly teaches classes for SAE and he conducts 3rd party audits. Dario has worked with AS9110 Maintenance and AS9100 Manufacturing Aerospace Standards in companies such as Alpha Star Aviation Services (Saudi Arabia), Turborreactores ITR, Ketema Aerospace Mexico and the Aeronautical University in Queretaro (UNAQ).  Companies and clients seek his services on a variety of topics including: Gap Analysis; Internal & External Audits; development and implementation of Quality Management Systems according to AS9100, AS9110, OHSAS 18001, ISO9001; development and Implementation of NADCAP special and manufacturing processes; process mapping; root cause analysis; 8 Ds and 5 whys problem solution techniques; risk assessment and quality, manufacturing, auditing and operation staff training and certification.  Dario holds a B.S degree in Metallurgical Chemical Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
