This course, based on the ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard, provides an in-depth explanation of how to use tolerance stacks to analyze product designs and how to use geometric tolerances in stacks. Students should have a good understanding of GD&T based on the ASME Y14.5M-1994 Standard either through work experience or knowledge gained by participating in a course such as the Fundamentals of GD&T 3-Day Workshop. Basic GD&T concepts will not be covered in this course.
