This course addressed the requirements of AS13100, including how the standard simplifies and harmonizes the aerospace engine manufacturer requirements to its shared supply chain. This includes how requirements flow to the engine manufacturers systems by regulators, customers, industry, and business specific requirements. Suppliers with multiple customers will learn how AS13100 minimizes requirements and improves overall product quality by focusing on the key quality systems and processes. This common language helps participants understand how the standard will impact their compliance to customers, and benefit their business performance.
Course modules guide the user through each section of the standard, and provide knowledge that may help the individual design, maintain and assess business processes that meet the intent of the standard. Essential job responsibilities will be outlined as well as key concepts, demonstration of compliance, and reviews of guidance material. For participants who desire in-depth knowledge of a specific topical area, additional training may be necessary.

The target audience for this course is individuals accountable for defining the organization’s processes or developing its quality management system to meet customer, regulatory, and industry requirements.
