Instructor-Led Courses and Web Seminars

SAE Seminars are one- to three-day short courses and SAE Web Seminars are courses conducted in a series of live, online sessions. SAE Seminars and Web Seminars feature a broad range of topics addressing relevant technologies, engineering tools, and management techniques. All Professional Development courses emphasize interactivity and are applications-oriented to provide direct job relevance.

Engineers teaching engineers is another key attribute of SAE Seminars and Web Seminars. Whether practicing engineers, industry consultants, or university faculty, all instructors come to the classroom with content expertise, industry experience, and on-the-job know-how.

All Seminars and Web Seminars are approved for IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and for the professional engineer, Professional Development Hours (PDHs). Certain courses are approved for Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR) Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

On-Demand Courses

SAE On Demand Courses are robust, self-paced learning modules that provide a powerful alternative to traditional classroom courses and global access. Knowledge checks throughout each course reinforce and aid in your retention of concepts and help you determine where further review may be needed. You control your progress because on-demand courses allow you to start, stop, pause, and restart your course to fit into your schedule, and to allow yourself extra time to pay close attention to key learning points and concepts.

Each SAE-produced on-demand course offers a complete training package, including resources and job aids for further reference, and an online learning assessment to gauge what you’ve learned. You’ll also receive IACET CEUs and an SAE certificate upon successful completion of your coursework.

Our library also includes on-demand courses from our network of training partners. Partner courses are vetted by SAE-recruited technical reviewers who ensure the quality of the content and learning experience. While not all partner courses were designed to conform to IACET Standards, an SAE certificate acknowledges your participation.

Quantity discounts and site license options are available through our Corporate Learning Solutions program.

Multiple Registrations–Classroom Seminars

Save an additional 10% when three or more people from the same company register to attend the same class together. Simply provide your confirmation number to your colleagues and ask them to mention this number when calling SAE Customer Service at 1-877-606-7323 (U.S. and Canada) or 1-724-776-4970 and registering for the same seminar offering.

The discount will be reimbursed to you and applied to your colleagues once registration is finalized for all three (or more) registrants. Discount valid only for three or more registrants who attend the same seminar offering. Some Professional Development courses, such as those involving driving vehicles, are exempt due to higher operational costs. In this instance, a discount of $50 will be applied to each individual who is part of a group of three or more registrants who are attending the same seminar offering.

Please note: the Aerospace Supplier Quality: Common Training for Self-Release Delegates (C1501) seminar is not applicable for multiple registration discounts.
