Don't Miss These Special Events at SAE International's 2018 Government/Industry Meeting

SAE International Government/Industry Meeting has many exciting special events planned at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 24-26, 2018. In addition to the great keynote speakers, there are other networking opportunities and workshops.

Washington Auto Show

As a part of your Government/Industry Meeting registration, you will receive complimentary access to the Washington Auto Show. Designated one of the nation’s top-five auto shows, you won’t want to miss the cutting-edge exhibits, latest-model cars, and displays of historic vehicles. You also will gain access to the exclusive Thursday night preview.

SAE/NHTSA Government/Industry CyberSecurity Workshop

The jointly sponsored SAE and NHTSA CyberSecurity Workshop will bring together experts from critical infrastructure sectors and government agencies responsible for cyber physical systems (CPS), including leading CPS thinkers from information technology, Industrial Control Systems, Internet of Things, Platform Information Technology, and embedded systems. Don’t miss the opportunity to collaborate with government, industry, and academia to address vulnerabilities unique to CPS architecture, including software, firmware, and hardware.

Through a workshop environment, each sector will bring its unique expertise, discussing problems addressed and lessons learned for a holistic look at the challenges facing CPS. The 1.5-day workshop will feature both presentations and in-depth panel discussions.

The workshop is free to attend, and does not require SAE Membership, but seating is limited and will fill up fast, so reserve your place today.
