SAE International has acquired CALISO’s portfolio of 42 online courses designed to help companies comply with quality, environmental and safety standards and regulations.

The courses offered include quality, safety and environmental management standards such as SAE’s AS9100 along with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF16949.  Courses for auditing to these standards, best practices for safety and efficacy such as GLP, GMPs, HACCP are also part of the collection.

Since 2011, SAE International had been acting as a third-party, value-added reseller of the courses.

“CALISO courses are well-respected throughout all of industry. This acquisition enables SAE to expand our e-Learning program. This collection also allows us to broaden our offerings to the aerospace supplier quality industry, to which we have been successfully delivering the Delegated Product Release Verification training worldwide,” J. Kevin Perry, Ed.D., Director of Professional Development for SAE International, said.

The acquisition was effective March 19 and now brings SAE International’s on-demand online learning portfolio to more than 165 courses.
