SAE International Announces New Programming for the COMVEC™ Technology Connection
SAE International announces new programming for the upcoming COMVEC™ to be held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, Ill. COMVEC is the central forum to discuss vehicle and equipment development spanning many sectors, including the on- and off-highway, ground defense, and mining industries. This year’s symposia delves into the industry’s hottest topics as well as several influential technical panels.
The Evolution of Big Data for Advanced Technology: With the availability of information at an exponential rate, how should industry adapt to remain competitive? This symposium will explore the impact of Big Data within the commercial vehicle community, how the data landscape is changing, posits on the future of business with ever increasing data and connectivity, and potential disruptive entrants in the commercial vehicle sector.
Commercial Vehicle Efficiency Improvements: Continuous efficiency improvements are critical to creating value for customers in the commercial vehicle segment, for both on- and off-highway markets. This symposium provides insights from key OEM's and suppliers on the impact of efficiency improvements of future technologies as they relate to emissions regulations, powertrains, and vehicles.
In addition to the symposia, SAE will host Technical Panels, which are interactive panel discussions bringing technical experts together to discuss the integration and application of technologies addressing emerging challenges faced by the engineering and mobility communities. The panels provide a problem-solving forum for audience members to share experiences, address challenges, and explore practical solutions in order to enhance their understanding of issues critical to the audience.
