SAE ITC and ARINC Industry Activities Invites the Aviation Industry to Participate in the Flight Simulator Engineering and Maintenance Conference (FSEMC)

The 2018 FSEMC Conference is hosted by RSi, and will be held in Irving, Texas, on Sept. 17-20, 2018. Attended by more than 300 flight simulator experts from around the world, the annual conference identifies technical solutions to engineering and maintenance issues resulting in immediate and long-term savings and increased efficiency for simulator users.
 
This year’s FSEMC will hold a Technical Workshop on Monday to openly discuss:

The biggest benefit from the FSEMC Conference is the open dialogue of discussion items. The users and operators submit questions weeks in advance of the conference. The suppliers will then prepare answers to brief in the open forum. By hearing that other simulator users have similar issues, the collaboration from multiple stakeholders is what benefits the entire industry.
 
The FSEMC provides cost effective solutions to simulator operational and maintenance problems through the widely respected annual conference and establishes ARINC Standards that increase simulator readiness and reduce operational costs. The FSEMC’s objective is the improvement of the operation of flight simulators and training devices by promoting better reliability, better maintenance, and better support techniques through the exchange of engineering, maintenance, and associated technical information and the development of voluntary technical standards related to simulation and training. FSEMC also seeks to promote and advance the state of the art of the flight simulation and training industry to the mutual benefit of its members. FSEMC membership includes European, North American, Asian, and African airlines, training suppliers, and training equipment and services suppliers in the flight training industry.

The emergence of international standards and conventions in the flight training industry have positive effects in helping to minimize the cost of training while maximizing its benefits. The FSEMC training industry is devoted to achieving safe operating practices.

The conference has an attendance charge of $700 USD, although ARINC IA Members and Sponsors gain access to conference at no charge.
