Vehicle On-Board Diagnostics Trends and Technologies the Topics of SAE International Symposium in Stuttgart

Industry experts will address and discuss many relevant, on-board diagnostics technology topics at the SAE 2019 On-Board Diagnostics Symposium – Europe, March 12-14, in Stuttgart, Germany.
 
This symposium provides attendees with the most critical and up-to-date information on new regulations, standards, and legislative requirements that continuously affect this technology area. Use this valuable platform that unites automotive and commercial vehicle experts from around the world to put your company ahead of the competition.
 
Technical session topics will include: Regulatory Updates, Light Duty OBD Updates, OBD on Automated Driving, OBD Standards Review, System Classification, OBD Experiences: OEB Perspectives, and OBD Port Gatekeeper.
 
In conjunction with the event, SAE will present a professional development seminar on March 11 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. “Emissions-Related OBD Systems: A Design Overview” is designed to provide an overview of the fundamental design objectives and the features needed to achieve those objectives for generic on-board diagnostics. The basic structure of an onboard diagnostic will be described along with the system definitions needed for successful implementation.
 
The SAE 2019 On-Board Diagnostics Symposium-Europe will be presented in English – including all technical sessions, keynotes, and materials. On-site translation is not scheduled for this event.
