Collegiate Chapters

Connect with other SAE student members on campus and develop skills like leadership, time management, project management, communications and more, in a student-run and student-elected on-campus environment. Find your chapter or start a new one by contacting Abby Hartman.

Industrial Lecture Series

Foster networking and exchange knowledge with practicing engineers by inviting lecturers to your campus for FREE. Educational institutions that have Collegiate Chapters may invite lecturers to their campuses.

Student & Young Professional Tech Paper Competition

See your name in print and promote your research to the entire mobility engineering industry through this competition, exclusive to SAE student and young professional members. Submit your abstract or learn more at sae.org/attend/innovationsinmobility.

Collegiate Design Series

Invest in your future by becoming an SAE professional member. And, as a benefit of being a student member, you will get an SAE professional membership for FREE when you graduate from your college or university. Once you transfer to a professional membership for your first year, you’ll continue to save on your membership for the next three years at the following discounted rates:

  • Second year of Professional Membership: $45 USD
  • Third year of Professional Membership: $60 USD
  • Fourth year of Professional Membership: $85 USD
