AMY SCHMELZER
General Manager for Cummins’ Global Ag Business

Ann Schmelzer is the General Manager for Cummins’ Global Ag Business. Growing up in Columbus, Ohio she developed a passion for problem solving through the lens of technology and agriculture that has persisted through her academic education and into her career. She holds undergraduate degrees from Purdue University in Agribusiness Management and Psychology. She has a Masters in Agricultural Economics from Purdue and an MBA from the IU Kelley School of Business. Before joining Cummins, she worked for the Indiana State Department of Agriculture as the Program Manager for Entrepreneurship and Diversified Agriculture where she was able to directly experience the impact of agriculture both in local communities and across the globe. She began her career at Cummins in 2011. Since then, she has held roles in new product development, product management, customer support, and service engineering. Outside of work, Ann and her husband are avid soccer fanatics who enjoy playing and coaching.
